Education and Skills Development

SERO supports access to education and practical skills development to help children, youth, and adults improve learning outcomes and build better opportunities for the future. Our focus is on inclusive, community-based approaches that respond to local needs.

Our Education and Skills Development activities include:

  • Supporting access to basic education for children affected by displacement and poverty through community engagement and awareness.
  • Promoting safe and inclusive learning environments, especially for girls and children with disabilities.
  • Providing life skills and basic vocational skills training to youth and adults to improve employability and self-reliance.
  • Supporting community education initiatives, including informal learning and awareness sessions.
  • Engaging parents, teachers, and community leaders to encourage school attendance and retention.
  • Coordinating with education partners and local authorities to align activities with education standards and priorities.
