- Health and Nutrition
SERO promotes community health and improved nutrition by supporting vulnerable populations to access essential health services and information. Our activities focus on prevention, early care, and referral, with special attention to women, children, elderly people, and persons with disabilities.
Our Health and Nutrition activities include:
- Supporting basic community health services through outreach, awareness, and referrals to nearby health facilities.
- Promoting maternal and child health by raising awareness on antenatal care, safe delivery, postnatal care, and child immunization.
- Supporting nutrition awareness and screening to help identify and refer cases of malnutrition, especially among children and pregnant or lactating women.
- Conducting health education sessions on disease prevention, hygiene, and healthy practices at household and community level.
- Strengthening referral pathways to health and nutrition partners to ensure vulnerable individuals access appropriate services.
- Coordinating with health and nutrition actors to align activities with national guidelines and community priorities.
